a fortnight ago, i met up with the Queen B of all the Bees,
my very own lian, jody as she made her way to a hospital,
which was quite a distance from her area.
i was bloody eccentric to see her, since we hardly get to meet at any hospitals.

( its the very, chubby us, no?  :p )

so the other day right,
when i told you that my team and i had to attend this
defense training at the home team academy.
we learned quite a few self defense techniques which were quite amusing.
and we also learned a few things,
about our rights, the public rights and some legal rights.
the lecture was so boring!

i was fidgeting and trying hard to stay awake!

the.hate

being popular can be a bitch!
yes!
its true you know.
the more popular you get,
there are people who tend to dislike or hate you.
but then again,
you can‘t stop them.

eating.affair

one of the admin staffs at a particular hospital was having a light conversation with me. she was like,
” eddy! i read your blog!
you are always going out and eating!… “

and i was like,
” yar! i love to eat! “

and i can tell you this,
i don’t mind paying a bit more when it comes to eating GOOD food!
i have this affair with good food.
and good dining.
so those who like to go out and eat,
you can be my very next best friend!
but then again,

first day i was posted to my fire station, i got an awful butterfly in my stomach.
i literally hated the feeling of not knowing what to expect.
and i didn’t know anyone there.
will they like me? will i even fit in?

i am heading to the home team academy,
for some self defense shit!
like totally ha yak kind lah!
apparently, we will be spending at the academy to learn some martial arts,
to defend ourselves!

like my ‘ fight combat ‘ training i did when i was in the army!
i wonder who will be my sparing partner?
i guessed, today will be a good work out,
i hoped!
woo hoo!

like, its so freaking far to the max can?
i is living in pasir ris.
the location i is heading is in boon lay.
its like from the east to the far west!
i’m sure its a bloody long train ride!

i know some of you have watched the NOTEBOOK.
a movie about an old man, reading a book to this woman,
who apparently is his wife, but his wife has Alzheimer’s Disease,
where she could not remember who he was.

Alzheimer’s Disease is a condition where a person
will start to loose his/her memory slowly.
its like senile.
so apparently, buddy borrowed me his set of Korean movies,
and my itchy hands HAD to click on
‘ A Moment to Remember ‘.

a.secret

since i will be slaving my service to the public,
this weekends, for both night shifts,
so family day was spent last friday night.
i wanted to write 2 things actually. dunno if time permits.
we shall see!

so i dragged my mom and dad initially, because they didn’t feel like going out,
since it was a holiday and they were sure it will be hell packed with human beings.
well, that was beside the point.

i was reading my work related emails,
which i hardly log in too.
not because i couldn’t,
it was more of like, i could not bother!
so, my ‘medical side’ needs the latest ic size foto of me.
apparently, they need to update some documents.

and they emphasised on one thing,
latest picture, must wear uniform and ‘neat’ looking.

so what’s the hype you might ask?
i didn’t know either.
but its worth the try now won’t it?

happiness.

you just need one happy thought, and it probably perks up your day!

and so, being all working and the has been,
and getting to know i have a few bunch of good colleagues in my team,
i just can’t help but being all appreciative and glad that i am a part of a good working environment.
sometimes, i just wonder, what if,

i have one of those bad cravings for something sweet.
like donut sweet.
but somehow, i am just too plain lazy to head down to raffles shopping centre.

previously, on you.eat.cheese…

we started out really cool with each other.
10 of us, knowingly that we had to stick together,
for good times or bad ones.
of course, we had our differences.
there were bound to have cliques,
those who are comfortable with each other,
where else others, who were better off alone or they managed to find comfort else where.
