but i do feel the need to share something with you guys…

even though i had doubts about our relationship,
but every month that we dated,
there’s always something special that came out of it..
no matter how angry QiQi and I were with each other,
no matter how upset,
or doubts,
or the future that we will never know…

we came out stronger…
and i have to admit,
my fondness for QiQi grows every single day…
that smile,
laughter and those silly joy QiQi brings to my life…

through the one year that we are together,
i know that there are people who are pessimistic about us,
and wondered, how long we could last..
( ive heard rumours that we won’t last for 3 months!! )
its not about how long we will be together…
we’ve been through so much shit,
and even after my accident in bali,
the things either big or small,
that QiQi had contributed,
it weighs more than i could ever imagine…

i guessed,
fate works in mysterious ways..
when i met QiQi for the first time,
i could have never imagined that we will end up together…
you get scared of the outcome,
the what IFs…

but i believed,
if you never try,
you wouldn’t know how it will unfold…

for that reasons,
i won’t be updating this blog anymore…
i truly believed that it has come to a point,
where our love lives,
is not meant to be shared or “brag” through reading,
or posting of pictures…

it has been nice and a pleasure to share my joy and to have an audience,
who came to know my humble blog…
but for now,
it is goodbye from my part…

and i prayed for all the happiness and joy to all you people out there…
may you find your way with your love ones,
and those small little things that make you happy…

i believed in the right balance.
have you ever see,
a couple…

who mimics each other?…
they have the same personalities,
the way they speak,
their thoughts…
oh yar…

i guessed, thats awfully cute, don’t you think?…
to me,
sometimes, when you get too comfortable with someone,
you will somehow “inherit” their ways of talking or thinking.
sub consciously..
its like a bunch of good friends…
we tend to talk the same topics,
try to fit in,
talk about the same common topics,
why?..

not to mimic,
but simply to be a part of the conversation.

i believed that you do need a bit of common interest or topics.
but that does not mean,
you have to have so many things in common,
that there is nothing that you can learned frm each other…

when you strike a certain topic,
that interest both parties,
that is where you tend to be actively involved…

i find at times, i can be too accomodating…
i will step into a person’s zone,
or level of communication.
i might not be the most intellectual or well read,
nor knowledgable…

but i can strike conversation if the other person,
is willing to share their information as well.
i guessed,
it takes two or more person,
to open up a topic,
that excites my intellectual…

i have my roster and scheduled properly planned…
as you can see…

i forsee, that i will be “grinning my teeth” for about max, 10 days of working shifts…
if not lesser,
IF…

i dunno… maybe after the Chinese New Year week,
with all the YAM SENG, and the oily food,
who knows, i will be soooooooooooo sick…!!…

so ya…
im so looking forward to FEB!..
feb is going to be a good month!..

my resignation letter is nicely typed,
properly sealed on the envelope,
and ready to be delived to my boss on 12th of Feb!…

office hours is not my thing.
i dont think i fit in the office hours routine…

furthermore,

i get rather tired and exhausted after work,
that i dont even feel of working out,
or exercise after i reached back home.

no wonder my colleagues were saying,
office hours can make you put on weight!…
i so agree!…

other that that,
QiQi and i are trying hard to adjust to our new “working” schedules…
apparently,
we hardly had time to meet each other. (once a week is consider more than good…)
i forsee that it will get worst once QiQi starts work,
and i for once will be struggling to adjust with school.

apparently,
we did talk about this issue…
afterall, we’ve been through a lot these past few months…
even through the bad times,
the uncertainties,
it brought us even closer together…

its funny how we handle our different kind of stress.
i won’t consider mine as stress.
its more of the frustration and sianness to go to work..
as for QiQi,
its the new environment and the challenges ahead…

haiz…
i just wished that i could tender ASAP!…
my hands are so itchy in handing out the resignation letter…
but i guessed, i have to wait til 12th of Feb…

so with a few sent emails,
sam and i would be staying with Ms A.A,
during our 2 nights in Jakarta…

picture this,
after spending 3 days, 2 nights in phuket,
we flew back to singapore, arrived in the late night,
rested for a few hours,
before catching the next flight, bright early the next morning,
to jakarta…

what i love about jakarta is the people.
and not forgetting the shopping malls.
the malls were huge!…
apparently sam and i had a different taste,
and side to what we should be doing in jakarta.

i for once, after a hectic rush that we did in phuket,
wanted to have a relaxing,
yet a pampering, rich, fine moments in jakarta…

as in, shopping,
swimming, relaxing, enjoy the coffee,
and fine dining.
but as for sam,
he wanted to explore the exotic museums,
work of arts,
historic pillars,
and not forgetting the “other” side of Jakarta…

which was,
for most tourists’ attractions!..

despite having different interest,
it was amazing how we could survive 2 days in jakarta,
with not much of homework done!..
we relied on Ms A.A for places to go,
and since we didn’t want to waste money on cabs,
most of the time, we ended up walking..!…

it was pure torture!…
but on the 2nd day,
we were fortunate, because,
we managed to make friends with a local,
and he showed us around Jakarta,
and took public transport,
the mono bus!…

other than that,
since Ms A.A was busy with work,
we could only spend time with her, after she ended her spy job.
and of coure,
we managed to sit and chit chat at her home,
and since sam didn’t know Ms A.A,
it was time for them to get to know each other…

overall, our stay in Jakarta was worthwhile.
i was hoping to stay longer though…
i was beginning to love Jakarta, when our 2 days were over,
and we had to rush to take a flight to yogyakarta…

the trip to yogyakarta was nothing but full of exotic places!…
i mean, locals are friendly,
especially when they know that you are from Singapore.

somehow,
they treated you as though you have tons of money.
when in reality,
me and sam were like totally broke.
since we spent quite alot on fine dining in jakarta…

so we managed to go to the historical places,
like the temples,
museums,
work of arts,
batik paintings,
the dance,
wayang kulit,
and during the last day,
we realised that our hotel did not accept credit card for payment.

it was a moment of panick!…
since we barely had enough rupiah dollars to spend,
so ended up,
sam and i tried to dig our own singapore money..!!…
luckily it was only $80.00 for 2 nights!…

so ya…
it was a little hiccups during our last day,
but overall,
it was a beautiful moment in Indonesia…
my advice,
always bring a bit of singapore cash, just in case…

you’ll never know when you need them!…

let see. i had bloodshot eye, very worst on my Right eye.
due to immerse forced vomit,
thanks to Josh (during his christmas gathering),
when i had a little bit too much to drink…

the bloodshot stayed for 3 weeks!…
bothers me, when i was having my holidays on the first week on Jan!…

sam and i were planning another holiday,
since the last time we did,
i ended up with 2 broken bones!…
not a lovely experience.
so, we were planning a last min trip,
and decided to go phuket and Indonesia, jakarta and yogyakarta.

it was so last minute,
that i thought going to 3 places in one week will be a killer!…

our first stop was to phuket.
we spent 3days and 2 nights there.
i had a rude shock when i noticed there were so many Caucasion on that tiny island.
i felt i was transported to a Western country,
instead of admiring another Asian paradise…

though Phuket was memorable,
but i refused to do any form of water related activites.
mom told sam that she didn’t want me to touch the water at all when we were in phuket.
so, yes..
sam did snorkelling when we went to phi phi island,
and there i was, looking on top of the ferry,
where sam managed to swim with the fishes,
and fed them with bread…

lucky!…

we managed to catch a drag show, called Simon’s Cabaret,
and took pics with the performers…

we went clubbing at Bangla Rd…
yup!…
its BANGLA rd!…
but i didn’t feel safe when i was there…
dunno. felt so weird…

it was flooded with people,
and a lot of trans, drags pulling unexpected patrons,
to take pictures with them,
and demand for tips…
i was like, >.<

i didn’t quite enjoy Phuket,
as much as i wanted too…
it was a bit of everything…
though i had to say,
sam planned everything rather well…

the best thing i guessed abt Phuket,
was the food!..

it was food after food!..
shiok man!..

if only we had stayed in Hard Rock cafe, phuket!..
but since we were on a tight budget,
and so last minute,
we just book everything that was affordable…

next entry,
Indonesia, Jakarta and Yogyarkarta…

you know, ever since i got myself injured last year,
during my trip to bali,
surprisingly,

none of my close friends from my poly, except for the best friend,
who i grew up and were rather close too,
came to visit…
as in they had promised to drop by,
but none came…

was i disappointed?
maybe a little,
but then again, i realised,
these KIND of friends,
are there, just because you are happy…

its like, those happy time friends…
and when you needed them the most,
they probably won’t even bother…
so, i don’t bother about their lives as we speak…
its totally a waste of my time…

and there are those,
that i was not even close too…
but became rather close,
because they genuinely care about how i was doing…
they even came all the way from the west,
to see how i was doing…

and guessed, what?!?!…
my POLY friends,
who stayed mostly from the East,
could not even be bothered to come,
even for a little while…

so like i said,
these kind of friends,
are the HAPPY kind of friends…
WHO HAPPENED to be around,
when you are happy…

those happy occassions…
their MARRIAGES,
or their engagment…
their baby ceremony stuffs…

for that reason alone,
THEY WANT to celebrate it…
EMBRACE it…
and want to share their joy with all the people…
but when your friend is injured,
what do they care!…

all they cared about is their busy lifestyles,
and wanting to “celebrate” their OWN set of HAPPINESS…

that is why,
i only attend to those of my frends’ engagment,
or birthday parties,
or their birth of their child,
when i felt they truly deserved, MY HAPPINESS,
to celebrate with them…

not some kind of superficial smiles,
and fake laughters…

spending times with my love one,
and close friends…
plenty of it, i might add…
sharing laughters,
and despite having a minor bloodshot on my RT eye,
i tried not to say NO when they wanted to meet up…

usually,
i will try not to say NO to meet ups..
especially when i haven’t meet up with my friends for ages!…

funny deal,
i wasn’t out clubbing…
or i should have…

but somehow,
there i was, at home…
and i wasn’t alone…

im feeling glad,
but with mixed emotions altogether…
maybe i do wanted to go out and party…

but i’ll rather spend it with you…
or was i being selfish?…

i wondered how these FAKE people do it all the time?…
i’ve met so many fake people…
with their plastic faces and smiles…
and i wondered,
it must have take plenty of work and effort to go around,
“pretending” to like everybody,
and assuming that everyone likes you in return…

usually,
you would want to question their motives…
why appear fake infront of you,
when they dislike you in the very first place?…

next year resolution,
avoiding the fake people all together…
not forgetting,
to simply cut off the drama…

who needs it!…

when we went out,
you make sure that you stayed close to me.
ensuring that the crowd were not too alarming for me…
i was scared of crowd initially,
but you helped me overcome it…

when we dine,
you were there to cut the meat,
or sliced the necessary things that appeared on my plate…
things that were difficult for me,
became easier when you were around…

you make an effort to accompany me to my therapy session,
when mom was not free…

then, there were times when i felt really down and sad,
due to my injury..
you were always there to give comforting words that everything will be alright…
we even met late at night,
cos you were so worried about me…

then came October,
when you started to work after you graduate…
it was not easy for me…
i had you for two months…
almost everyday you were there…
and i became too dependent on you…

i was not happy that you could not spend too much time with me…
so i figured, if you could not meet up with me,
i will go to you instead…
and that was what i did…
i waited for you after you ended work near your workplace…
and for 3 weeks, you had to work..

straight…!!!… NO KIDDING!… no JOKE!
with no rest at all…
i thought you were joking when you said you didn’t have any off days…
i was throwing tantrums,
and wanted your attention…
you never fail to entertain me…

maybe i was spoilt…
or maybe i was too comfortable…
but now,
its our 10 months together…
and i looked at our diary,
the things we did since i got injured…

and i laughed silly…
i guessed,
looking back at the past 4 months,
it was a tough road…
and you give in to me quite a lot…

i missed having you buying me my HL milk…

and not forgetting,

ended my SQ interview this morning…
i was accompanying my friends…
ITS the TRUTH…
i just want to see what’s the standard like,
and the questions they posed for SQ “cabin crew” wannabes…

so, of course, i wasn’t feeling at all excited…
i couldn’t even be bothered to prepare myself…
and i can assured you guys that seeing the ‘disappointed’ faces,
at some of the hopefuls,
i was like,
“GIVE yourself a break guys…
there’s always another rounds…”

so, i came early since the registration starts at 0900hrs.
was there with sam at 0730hrs…
managed to grab a quick bite,
and then we slowly made our way to suntec convention hall…

the queue had started, and after the initial rounds of clarification,
we saw quite a few guys and girls
being rejected..
either of their qualification levels,
or they didn’t fill up certain questions on the application form…

so, it was the height measurement round.
i barely passed and made it…
yes.. i was apparently not that TALL…
they asked me whether i could reach the red line,
about 3 m…
so, we passed the initial stage…

waited at the holding area,
where we were shown videos of what SQ airlines was about..
and then, we were seated with 10 other hopefuls.
that is where you make small talks with one another.

the girls and guys are separated for the interviews…
the first round of interview,
the 10 of us were seated inside a room,
with 2 female “HR” personnel…

they asked us to introduce ourselves,
and talked about the crowd that we saw that morning…
and how do we feel about the crowd…

and i went  >.<

i thought the question will be,
“introduce yourself and why you want to be a cabin crew in SQ?”

apparently,
this time round,
they had changed the question…

so ya..
i made it passed the 1st round…
and results were out..
out of the 10 of us,
only 3 were selected..

sam managed to go through the next round!!!…
so happy for him…

while waiting for suffian and sam,
i managed to have breakfast with those “rejected”
ones who were given the “NO” in the first round…
apparently,
the 3 of us didn’t manage to go through til the end…

but i had fun!..
so yes…
there were a lot of disappointments,
and sad faces,
even some were in tears…

ya…
it was that drama!…
